55 yds / 50m for MC and 11 yds / 10m for CC of fingering (4ply), sport or double knitting weight yarn.

Needles and notions

US 0 / 2mm set of 4 dpns if using fingering / 4ply weight yarn or US 2½ / 3mm dpns if using DK weight yarn.

Scrap of black yarn for embroidering eyes, toy stuffing.

Gauge

Exact gauge isn’t important - you can use any yarn with needles a couple of sizes smaller than recommended to give a tight fabric that the stuffing won’t poke through.

Size

Will vary depending on your gauge, but my fingering weight mouse measures approx. 3.5˝ / 9cm from bottom to the tip of his inquisitive nose.
